Description meghakolombkar 2006-09-21 03:52:59 CEST
Hi,
I have been trying to build and install GEANT4 with the intel compiler . I have
been able to build the application . But, when i do a ./Configure i get a
message , that the application is not yet built. :(

Also, i could not get to which component i should assign this problem .

After issuing "./Configure -build" all libraries get built successfully; however, at the
next step, "./Configure", for the generation of the configuration scripts env[.sh.csh],
the scripts are not created and this warning is issued:
WARNING: Geant4 is NOT built yet!
Note:
G4INSTALL and installation area are the samein this case, but the same problem is
observed if "./Configure -install" is issued.

The only solution is asking the g4system for every operation in Configure.
It's done and hopefully will be included in release 8.2
