Dear Sir,

I am tracking an electron in Xenon gas. I found that the change of the kinetic
energy of an electron does not equate to the deposit energy (dEstep)
in a tracking step. The total deposit energy does not equate to total change
of kinetic energy of the electron also, as seen below in an example of tracking.

Could you tell me whether it is correct and why?

Dear Sir,

Thank for your considerations. I have found out the meaning of "energy
deposited". It is my misunderstanding the concept to cause such a problem. The
change of the kenitic energy change of an electron is the sum of kenitic energy
of its secondaries and energy deposited.
