The inelastic neutron scattering cross section data for chlorine contains a NaN, leading to significant discrepancies. This was first reported elsewhere: http://webmail.unizar.es/pipermail/montecarlo/2005-February/000016.html
Hi, thank you for the posting. It is a known problem, but I can do little about it. The G4NDL 3.7 data library has severe problems. The data are very old, and still buggy at the same level as for example ENDF/B was in 1988. It also has a copyright problem, and we no longer can distribute the library. I am currently working to overcome most of these problems, by creating a fresh evaluation, but this takes some time... Many greetings, Hans-Peter.
G4NDL v3.8 is released and Inelastic/CrossSection/17_nat_Chlorine is recreated from Cl-NAT (neutron) from ENDF/B-VI Tape 101. "NaN" enetry has gone with this update. Koi, Tatsumi
