Despite the improvement of the sampling of the Rayleigh scattering angle (following bug report #406), we have found that there is still a sampling problem which occurs at small scattering angles. The correction of bug #406 has removed an abnormal excess of scattered photons at very small scattering angles. Now, another problem appears (less severe): there is no more Rayleigh scattering occurring with small scattering angles, whereas the probability of scattering is theoretically maximal at small angles. I can provide a more detailed description of the problem if need be. Best regards, N. Freud
The problem is reassigned to the developer who took care of the fix to problem 406. Best wishes, Maria Grazia Pia
The problem will require a detailed study of the Cross section sampling at very small angle. Tests are in progress.
