Hi, I have a very hard time in installing the HEPVis now. What I want to know
is: to get the visualization funtionality of geant, is it necessary to have
HEPVis? My interests are to use Geant4 in medical applications, such as CT
images. According to my understanding, HEPVis is for high energy particle. Do I
still need to install HEPVis in this case? Thanks!

 No, it is not necessary, unless you need to use OpenInventor as graphics
 engine. A free implementation for it is also available with SoFree:
 http://www.lal.in2p3.fr/Inventor
