The Configure script seems not to recognize the UNIX commands defined in
CygWin (cmd, tr, mkdir, cd, chmod, rm, cat, sed, awk, touch, ...), therefore
an automatic installation with Configure cannot be initiated on Windows/CygWin
systems.
The version of CygWin I used is "1.3.9(0.51/3/2) 2002-01-21", I didn't verify
if it applies also to the old version B20.1 suggested in the Installation Guide.
It would be useful if the automatic procedure for installation can be applied
to Windows systems as well.

BTW, in Bugzilla when opening a new problem report, if I explicitely choose
the person to assign the ticket, it does not work and Bugzilla still assigns
the ticket to the default defined in the Bugzilla database ......

Since the last release of G4 4.1 Configure works in Cygwin env.
