The brachytherapy example compiles but does not run. gdb output:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x400c3e07 in HepRotation::operator* () from /usr/lib/libCLHEP.so

The problem appears in all examples !

Could you report more detail?
Which version of CLHEP and Geant4 are you using?
What is the version of your g++ compiler?

We have compiled and run the brachytherapy example without problems.

It had something to do with my installation of GEANT4.3.2. Somehow there was
a confusion with CLHEP1.7 and CLHEP1.6. I reinstalled everything and its
o.k. now.
