Description anurag.goel 2001-09-14 06:40:12 CEST
hi everyone

Does Geant4 requires the CLHEP environment variables during
installation like the ones specifying the "lib" and "includes" of CLHEP. I mean
to say is there is explicit need to set these variables or Geant4 will set this
variables by itself or are these set to a default value in Geant4.

Also in CLHEP installation "lib" contains only "libCLHEP-g++.a"

"include/config" doesn't contain "CLHEP-x86-cygnus-win32-cl.h"
"include" doesn't contain "string directory" too.

i am installing CLHEP 1.6.0.0 version of CLHEP. Is my installation CLHEP okay
or will it create problems in installation of Geant4 and working thereafter.

I am installing on Windows 2000

Thanks in Advance!!!

regards,
Anurag

Geant4 requires you to specify -where- CLHEP is installed in your
system, by setting the proper environment variables.
Please, read the Installation Guide or refer also to our FAQ page
on the web, where this topic is already addressed.
For any enquiry about CLHEP or its installation, please report to the
CLHEP support, see http://wwwinfo.cern.ch/asd/lhc++/clhep. Thanks.
