Capture of negative muons on nuclei is also handled using the Bertini model. The muon capture process deals with the atomic capture, the subsequent electromagnetic cascade of the muon down to the lowest orbit, including photon and Auger electron emissions, and the decision about whether the bound muon should decay in that orbit or be captured into the nucleus. i collect the information of the u-x ray energy spectrum  that by subsequent electromagnetic cascade of the muon down to the lowest orbit . i found that its value is smaller than the experimental value(For example,in Fe ,Kα is 1.233MeV.but  the experimental value is 1.253MeV  ).i do not know which one is right.

Hello,

thank you for pointing to a problem. The mechanism of mu- capture is implemented based on publications. Some data used are old, the review of these data was not performed since long. Some user group had interest to much more precise model than Geant4 default and several steps from the design point of view were done inside Geant4 kernel. Recent years the activity to provide such model was reduced.

If you have a list of proposed modifications, please, formulate - we may consider your proposal and will try to improve the default model on base of more recent data provided by you. Ideally, we need to see publish paper with published numbers, which may be included in the current default code.
