Dear GEANT4 developers, Please could you check the download page for GEANT4: https://geant4.web.cern.ch/support/download It seems to be broken! I click on the download buttons and nothing happens. These buttons are really annoying, simple direct links would be much more convenient! Thanks! /Alexey

Thanks for the quick response! It does not seems to work from Russia (Budker INP). Is it possible to put direct links in addition to the buttons? I can't figure out the download link from the page source.
You may want to check your browser settings. Downloads work fine for us outside CERN domain. The direct URL for the source is: https://cern.ch/geant4-data/releases/geant4.10.07.p01.tar.gz You have also possibility to download through GitLab or GitHub.
Dear Gabriele, Many thanks, this direct link works! However, it seems impossible to figure out the direct links for all the required files. For example, https://geant4-data.web.cern.ch/releases/G4EMLOW7.13.tar.gz does not work. Direct links on the main download page would be extremely helpful!! Also it seems like the other external programs are now broken because GEANT4 download pages is changed. G4beamline installation can't download any GEANT4 file automatically and it's not how the download link should be modified there. Thanks! /Alexey
Hello Alexey, There is a bit of javascript run by the download button, did you by chance disable javescript in yuour browser? If so, please allow javascript from the Geant4 download page. For data sets I'd recommend to have CMake download these; this adds integrity checks on the datasets. The direct link for G4EMLOW is https://geant4-data.web.cern.ch/geant4-data/datasets/G4EMLOW.7.13.tar.gz. Note the added '.' between dataset name and version. Other datasets follow the same pattern. Dear Gunter, Many thanks for the explanation! Direct links work! The javascript is allowed and I tried it with different browsers -- the same result. It works only if I use PVN with some european address. In my particular case I'm just trying to download the files required by the G4beamline installation program -- it used to download everything automatically, but I guess it does not work anymore because you've changed "http" to "https". That's why I need to download all the files manually. Best regards, /Alexey
