Created attachment 670 [details] In the attached figure you can see the neutron spectrum when a 3.51 MeV deuteron beam impinges on a Tritium target. In this case neutrons with unnatural energies above 20 MeV are produced. Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to report the following two problems: 1. When I simulate the 2H(d,n)3He (DD) and 3H(d,n)4He (DT) fusion reactions, I notice that some of the produced neutrons have unnatural energies. For example, in the attached figure you can see the neutron spectrum when a 3.51 MeV deuteron beam impinges on a Tritium target. In this case neutrons with unnatural energies above 20 MeV are produced. 2. When I simulate the deuteron break-up of the 2H+n interaction, the produced protons have also unnatural energies. In both cases it seems that the energy conservation law is not obeyed.
