The DPMJET interface in Hadr02 seems to be somewhat broken. Compiling the Hadr02 example in 9.6.p03 and running 200 events at 500 GeV (by modifying accordingly dpmjet.in) I get these results: ======================================================== Beam particle S32[0.0] Beam Energy(GeV) 500 Number of events 200 Average energy deposit (GeV) 7.442 RMS(GeV) 4.578 Average number of steps 58.33 Average number of gamma 3.615 Average number of e- 0.005 Average number of e+ 0.005 Average number of neutrons 6.725 Average number of protons 7.135 Average number of antiprotons 0.005 Average number of pi+ & pi- 10.23 Average number of pi0 6.54 Average number of kaons 0.82 Average number of muons 0.01 Average number of deuterons+tritons 0.675 Average number of He3+alpha 1.04 Average number of ions 1.225 ======================================================== which seem fine. Hello Nicola, in 10.0 new checks are added for 4-momentim balance. Problems likely were in 9.6 version already. Absence of gamma, e- in the new run will be investigated. Vladimir
