Description Václav Štěpán 2013-05-27 11:49:13 CEST
Dear Dr. Cirrone,

while looking at the (amazing) hadrontherapy example in Geant4, I found following paragraph in the README (in Geant4 4.9.6 p01 source, examples/advanced/hadrontherapy):

Visit the Hadrontherapy web site (http://www.lns.infn.it/link/Hadrontherapy) to request the complete version of this program, together with its documentation;
Hadrontherapy (both basic and full version) is supported by the Italian INFN Institute in the framework of the MC-INFN Group.

The link stated here, http://www.lns.infn.it/link/Hadrontherapy, leads to page which again states that the complete version can be obtained from those pages.
However, the Downloads tab there does not work (it's not a hyperlink) and the link to "Geant4-advanced example" in second paragraph also points to a server that is not available.

It looks like an if an older, standalone, web page has been migrated into Joomla, but the Downloads and User manual were not (?).

In either case, the URL does not really link to what it says.

Dear Dr. Štěpán,

thanks for the report. The URL which is reported in the README file of the example release in Geant4 10.0 is correct.

 http://www.lns.infn.it/link/Hadrontherapy

(at least, it is properly working on my broswer).

Sincerely,
Luciano Pandola
