Hi,

I am working on a simulation, where a parabolic cylinder is needed. NB: *not* a paraboloid. As far as I have seen there is no way to implement any solid with such a shape. Is there any work on the issue (I've seen I am not the only one with this problem)? If not, I'll try to implement the class myself...

At the moment, there is no plan to introduce such shape, sorry.
You're of course welcome to contribute, if you manage to provide an implementation of it conforming to the specifications of the functionalities a Geant4 solid must provide.
