With gcc4 in FC4, geant4 is not compatible.
FC4 has gcc32 too.
The libraries for gcc32 are in separate path (/usr/lib/gcc-lib instead of
/usr/lib/gcc).

Kindly suggest where do I need to change the gcc compiler to gcc32 and the
reference for libraries in geant4 as well as CLHEP for its installation.

I am using a AMD-64 system (x86_64).

Since this is a bug-report system I would kindly suggest that questions or
issues which are not related to Geant4 problems are discussed offline and not
in this PRS. Thanks.

To pickup the correct compiler you need to modify your shell run-time setup, by
adding the paths of the compiler to libraries and binaries in front of your
LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH respectively. See also related postings on Hypernews

I'd like to make you notice though that you're still using an architecture (64
bits) which is NOT supported for the current releases of Geant4, so we cannot
give you any additional advice or help for problems that you may find.
The new release of Geant4 (7.1) which will be released this week will be more
suitable for 64 bits systems.
