Hi, I am a student from Purdue, and my group has been trying to install Geant4
version 7.0 to our computers. The platform that we are using is Sun System E4504
and Solaris 8. We could use windows NT or Linux when installing Geant4. For the
past few days, we have spent over 12 hours reading the manual and trying to
compile the installation scipts. However, there are hundreds of errors such as
undefined global variables..etc when we are compiling the scripts during the
installation process. Could this be caused by the platform or hardware we are
using right now?

Thanks,

Neal

You should specify what compiler version, CLHEP version and errors you're
observing, otherwise we cannot help you.
The current version of Geant4 builds ard runs correctly on SunOS 5.8, CC-5.4.
Post here any useful information to investigate your problem. Thanks.
