Description rtascher 2000-02-15 08:57:02 CET
Shooting a 100 keV electron in water yields very different track lengths
depending on the processes used. With the regular (hi energy) electromagnetic
processes, the track length is about 150 ľm, on average. This value is in
agreement with the continuous slowing down approximation (CSDA) range of 143 ľm.
On the other hand, using the low energy EM processes, the average track length
is about 8 ľm, a value unacceptably low. Differences exist also for other
energies (I have tried 500

This bug is the result of actually several bugs
which have been identified and fixed by V.Lefebure on 17.02.2000. They have been
included in the code tagged emlowen-V01-00-10 by MG Pia on 22.02.2000.
They will be included in the next public release forseen in March 2000.
