Persistency in Geant4 works on top of HepODBMS and Objectivity. However, Objectivity 5.1 or 5.2 does not work with Linux RedHat 6.1. For further detail on Objectivity and Linux, I recommend you to join RD45 mailing list. See, http://wwwinfo.cern.ch/asd/rd45/generalInfo.htm for more detail. |
I followed exactly the prescriptions related to the README file of the geant4/examples/extended/persistency/PersistentEx01, but i cannot compile the geant4 library with persistency. I'm on the CERN site and evaluating G4 for possible application in the HARP/P315 experiment.
