As it did not occure on any other platform and the strstream seems not different on DEC, I am tempted to think that the env variable might not have been set, or the last patch was missed. On DEC in ISO mode (debug and optim) tests 11 and 15 give the following or similar: ionIoni: Knock-on electron cross sections . MeanFreePath is computed at tracking time. delta ray energy sampled from differential Xsection. G4NeutronHPNames: Sorry, this material does not come near to any data. G4NeutronHPNames: Please make sure NeutronHPCrossSections points to the directory, the neutron scattering data are located in.
