Problem 440

Summary:	I can't run JAS with Geant4.5.0 under Windows XP

i can't launch Java Analysis Studio together with last release Geant4.5.0
But next trouble obtained:

1) if i try to use JAS 2.2.4 (JDK 1.3.1), then JAS can't recognized file
A01.aida in /examples/extended/analysis/A01 (AIDA - patch for JAS installed)
2) if i try to use JAS 2.2.5 (JDK 1.4.1), then JAS can't start because of JAS
2.2.4 can't run under Windows XP, and this bug is in progress.

And next strange thing i find: in file setup-analysis.w32 for A01app.cc
next string:

G4ANALYSIS_AIDA_CONFIG_LIBS="-lAIDAJNI -lFHJNI -ljvm"

but i find only libjvm.a and libFREEHEP.a in my /lib/WIN32-VC
(i install JAIDA)

And next question obtained:
where i can find libraries libAIDAJNI.a and libFHJNI.a ?

if any body can run JAS+Geant4.5.0 under Windows XP please say me how it make
possible ? (detailed step-by-step instructions and web-links, if you can)

This bug now reflects an obsolete G4 version.
A complete tutorial on how to run JAS with Geant4.5.2 patch 02 is available as
part of the recent Geant4 tutorial series that can be found at

This report is no longer relevant.  Detailed instructions for running under
Geant4.5.2 were presented at the Fermilab G4 Tutorials.
