gammas
It seems that the gamma files are older than the others. Maybe they have not been processed recently, but I agree there is a problem with the code used to create G4NDL. I will check with the maintainer of G4NDL. Your corrected gamma files (without meta-stable states) will be included in the next version of G4NDL. This will be available for download soon as G4NDL4.7. |
Created attachment 673 [details] levels Hello. Some of the files in G4NEUTRONHPDATA/Inelastic/Gammas contain levels that are not in ascending order. Attached levels.txt contains a list of "file:#line" where this inconsistency is found. There could be more of them. I printed out only the first finding for each file. Attached gammas.txt contains a list of "file:#line 'level_energy photon_energy intensity'" which has photon_energy > level_energy by a lot. Also, all these .000 look a bit suspicious. Some files has both of these abnormalities. Check out z32.a687. How did it even get there? It is clear that there is a bug somewhere along the code used for production this library.
