Description ob214 2001-01-15 14:49:30 CET
I'm trying to compile the analysis module in geant4.3.0.
I'm trying to compile the JAS driver.
For this I need AIDA.
I searched through the AIDA web page but I can't find any link to download and
install AIDA.
Could you tell me where I can find it?

Also, what is the best way of producing histogramming in geant4?
I can't really use the commercial HepODBMS. I wondered whether the good old
HBOOK is still a good option or whether there was something better available
now.

Also, do you have any knowledge of some material libraries for geant4, in a
similar fashion to PEGS for EGS4?
It's a bit of a pain having to build the material from scratch.

The interface for the analysis tools (JAS, Lizard and OpenScientist)
AIDA-2.2 is provided independently just like CLHEP.
In the Geant4.4.0 distribution, you can find an example how to use
it from Geant4;
examples/extended/analysis/AnaEx01.

good luck
