Description Nikolas Patronis 2016-11-27 07:50:41 CET
Depending on the gcc version I get different intensity in the decay of Mn-54 (single gamma-ray 835 keV). More specifically I get the half of intensity for the 5.4.0 version and I get the expected intensity for the gcc 4.8.4. I have also seen problems with the intensity of low energy lines of Eu-152 (121 keV).

I have already submitted the Mn-54 decay problem which is linked to radioactive decay database (Problem 1852) .

You should compare radioactive decay database versions.
For Eu-152, you can try to compare Geant4 database with ENSDF files at NNDC or files from DDEP-NUCLEIDES database.

Hello,

As mentioned by Gilles Gregoire the Mn-154 is no longer an issue in Geant4.10.3.
For the Eu152 I need to check it.

Best regards

Hello,

I have done test of the decay of Eu-152 with Geant4.10.3p01 and the next release Geant4.10.4 that will come out in Dece, ber. I get the good intensity of the major gamma lines 121,244.70,344.28 ... keV

Best regards
