Description ecblaloc 2016-11-17 00:18:18 CET
I am a student performing simulations in G4.10.02 for the Majorana Demonstrator neutrinoless double-beta decay experiment. We noticed the file for Radium-228 is missing in the PhotonEvaporation3.2 directory, but was previously present in PhotonEvaporation2.3 for G4.9.6. Were there any problems with the Radium-228 file in PhotonEvaporation2.3 or current Radium-228 data? Would fixing this problem be as simple as copying the file from PhotonEvaporation2.3 into the PhotonEvaporation3.2 directory?

Thank you for your help.

This was an omission going from PhotonEvaporation2.3 to 3.2. It should be possible to copy forward the z88.a228 file to PhotonEvaporation3.2. There was a change in format going from 2.3 to 3.2, but it was only to change most entries from scientific notation to regular notation.

For Geant4 10.3, the z88.a228 file was restored to PhotonEvaporation4.1 and later.
