Hello I have a problem with the simulation running with GEANT4.10.1 patch 2.

I have set to get neutron energy by setting GetkineticEnergy/keV in stepping actions class.

However, the simulation gets stopped few hours later with "Core dump" error.

This does not happen if I set the unit as MeV.

I use QGSP_BIC_HP cascade.

We have an expert of GEANT4 in my department and he ran gdb. It seems like the usersteppingaction class stopped during the process of particle simulation.

I and my collegue believe that this problem could be a bug in the program.

Could you investigate this ?

More details are needed:

1) what type and energy of particles are you shooting into your detector?
2) briefly describe your geometry
3) please include the core dump output and the traceback from gdb.
